STATIC PRESSURE & AIRFLOW
What was that gauge I put on your ductwork?
A manometer. It reads static pressure — the resistance your blower pushes against. Think of it like blood pressure for your system. When it is too high, the system moves less air than it was built for, rooms go uneven, bills climb, and parts wear out early.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR
Signs you might notice.
- Rooms that never match the thermostat
- Whistling at grilles or a filter that bows inward
- A system that runs long but never feels strong at the vents
WHAT WE DO ABOUT IT
We measure pressure in and out of the equipment and across the filter, compare it with the manufacturer’s rating, and show you the numbers. Fixes go in order: filter, returns, then ductwork.

Static pressure and indoor air quality: fix the cause, not the symptom
Comfort and clean air start with airflow. Why we measure static pressure, size ductwork properly, prefer media filters, and solve mold at its source — instead of selling gadgets.

A deeper filter cabinet gives your system real filtration surface area — cleaner air, lower pressure drop, longer filter life, and less strain on the blower.
