DAIKIN INVERTER SYSTEMS · CHESAPEAKE & HAMPTON ROADS
Steady comfort from a compressor that thinks.
Daikin inverter heat pumps and air conditioners — including Daikin FIT — sized with a Manual J load calculation and installed with the matched equipment and controls Daikin intends.
HOW K&A CAN HELP
Let’s start with
what you need.
An inverter compressor changes speed to match the load, so it spends most of its life running long and gentle instead of slamming on and off. That is better for comfort and humidity — but only when the system is sized to the house and the ducts can deliver the air. We start with a load calculation, match the equipment properly, and verify airflow after install.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Before you call.
What does “inverter” mean?
The compressor speed varies to match what the house needs, instead of running only at full output. That gives steadier temperatures and better humidity control.
Is Daikin FIT a heat pump or an air conditioner?
Daikin offers FIT in both. Your proposal should say exactly which you are getting and list the matched model numbers.
Will an inverter system work with my ductwork?
Often, but we check. Inverter systems are sensitive to airflow, so we measure static pressure and look at duct sizing before quoting.
