CUSTOM DEHUMIDIFICATION · CHESAPEAKE & HAMPTON ROADS
Humidity control built for Hampton Roads.
Whole-home, ventilating and crawlspace dehumidifier applications sized to the space — after we measure humidity and find the moisture source.
HOW K&A CAN HELP
Let’s start with
what you need.
Long, humid summers make Hampton Roads a tough place to keep a house dry. Air conditioners remove some moisture, but efficient homes, oversized systems, crawlspaces and bonus rooms often need more. We measure first, fix the moisture source where we can, and then design a dehumidifier application for your home — ducted, ventilating or space-specific.
- Humidity measurement and moisture-source evaluation
- Whole-home dehumidifiers ducted with your HVAC system
- Ventilating dehumidifiers for tight, efficient homes
- Crawlspace, encapsulated-space and bonus-room dehumidification
- Humidity controls and setup

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Before you call.
What humidity should my house be?
EPA guidance is to keep indoor humidity below 60%, ideally between 30% and 50%.
Why doesn’t my air conditioner handle humidity?
An AC removes moisture only while it runs. Oversized systems cool quickly and shut off before they dry the air, and mild humid days do not call for much cooling. A dedicated dehumidifier handles moisture independently.
Do you do crawlspace dehumidifiers?
Yes — crawlspaces and encapsulated spaces are some of the most common applications. We size the unit to the space and plan drainage and controls.
