K&A Mechanical Inc. (“K&A,” “we”) is a heating and air conditioning company in Chesapeake, Virginia. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what we do with it. It is written to match how the site actually works.

The only personal information this site collects is what you type into our forms:
Request-service form: your name, email address, phone number, service address, reason for your inquiry, and anything you add about your equipment or situation.
Online scheduling: your name, phone number, email address, service address, the type of service you want, your preferred day and arrival window, and any notes for the visit.
We do not take payments, create accounts, or run a newsletter or marketing list through this site. Please do not include payment details or medical information in any form.
How we use it
We use what you submit for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and to schedule and perform the service you asked about. We review every request and booking.
Who else sees it
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for marketing. Your details pass through a small number of service providers, only as needed to run the site and the business:
Cloudflare hosts this website and stores form submissions in its database so nothing you send is lost.
Google Calendar receives the details of an online booking so the visit is held on our schedule.
Housecall Pro is the field-service software where a service job is created from your booking or inquiry.
The energy-savings page offers Daikin’s calculator. It only loads if you click to open it; at that point Daikin’s own privacy policy applies to your use of their tool.
What we don’t do
This site runs no advertising trackers, no cross-site tracking cookies, and no session-recording software. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not buy or sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and booking records for as long as needed to provide service and to meet warranty, tax, and legal record-keeping obligations. If you would like us to review, correct, or delete your information, contact us and we will take care of it.
Security
The site is served over encrypted HTTPS. Private inboxes are protected by an owner sign-in, and access to customer records is limited to our staff. No internet transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we keep the setup simple and locked down to reduce risk.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
