TANKLESS WATER HEATERS · CHESAPEAKE & HAMPTON ROADS
Endless hot water, installed right.
Gas tankless water heater installation, tank-to-tankless conversions, and annual descaling and service for Chesapeake and Hampton Roads homes.
HOW K&A CAN HELP
Let’s start with
what you need.
A tankless water heater only works as well as its installation. Gas tankless units need enough gas supply for their full firing rate, correct venting, and a plan for mineral buildup. We size the unit to how your household actually uses hot water, check the gas line and venting before quoting, and set up a descaling routine so it keeps performing.
- Tankless water heater installation and replacement
- Tank-to-tankless conversions
- Sizing to your household’s peak hot-water demand
- Gas supply and venting checks for the new unit
- Annual descaling (flushing) and service

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Before you call.
How much more efficient is tankless?
The U.S. Department of Energy estimates tankless units can be 24–34% more efficient than storage tanks for homes using 41 gallons of hot water a day or less, and 8–14% for homes using around 86 gallons a day. Savings come from not keeping a tank hot around the clock.
Will one tankless unit keep up with my house?
It depends on how many fixtures run at once and the incoming water temperature. That is why we size to your peak demand rather than picking a unit off the shelf.
Does a tankless water heater need maintenance?
Yes. Minerals in the water build up in the heat exchanger. A periodic descaling flush keeps it efficient and protects the unit. We can add it to your maintenance visits.
