K&A Mechanical Inc. (“K&A,” “we”) is a heating and air conditioning company in Chesapeake, Virginia. These terms apply when you use this website, send us a service request, or book a visit. By using the site, you agree to them.
What we do
We provide residential and light-commercial heating, air conditioning, geothermal, indoor air quality, gas fitting, water heater, and related services in Chesapeake and the Hampton Roads area. Descriptions of our services on this site are general information, not a promise that a particular service is right for your home or that we serve every address.
Estimates are not quotes
Any numbers you see on this site — including calculator results, plan pricing, and cost ranges in our guides — are planning estimates only. A binding price comes only from a written proposal we prepare for your specific home and project after an evaluation. If an estimate and a written proposal ever differ, the written proposal controls.
Scheduling and cancellations
Online bookings are requests until confirmed. Visits requested less than seven days out require our approval; visits seven or more days out are confirmed automatically unless we contact you otherwise. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us at (757) 630-2069 as early as you can so we can offer the slot to another customer. Missed appointments without notice may be subject to a trip charge.
Warranties
Equipment we install carries the manufacturer’s warranty under the manufacturer’s terms, which we will explain before work begins. Many manufacturers extend parts coverage when the equipment is registered — we handle registration for equipment we install. Where you purchase a GoodCare extended labor agreement, labor coverage follows the agreement’s terms and is non-transferable. Our workmanship is covered as described in your written proposal. Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, lack of maintenance, or conditions outside our control.
Financing
Financing is subject to credit approval. Rates, terms, and eligibility are set by the lender — not by K&A Mechanical. Any payment estimates on this site are illustrations only; your actual rate and payment come from the lender’s approval. We will always confirm the current details with you before work begins.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, K&A Mechanical Inc.’s liability for any claim arising from this website or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any dispute will be handled in the courts serving Chesapeake, Virginia.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site or our services change. The date at the top shows the latest revision, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
