TANKLESS WATER HEATERS
Is a tankless water heater right for this house?
A tankless heater warms water only when a tap opens, so it skips the standby losses of keeping a tank hot. The U.S. Department of Energy estimates 24–34% better efficiency for homes using 41 gallons a day or less. Gas tankless units need correct venting, gas line sizing, and yearly descaling.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR
Signs you might notice.
- An aging tank (often 10+ years) or rust at the base
- Running out of hot water
- Wanting space back in a closet or garage
WHAT WE DO ABOUT IT
We size the unit to your peak demand, check the gas line and venting, and set up a descaling routine so it lasts.
