Start with the equipment

Check which system the report describes. Equipment information connects the visit to the unit being evaluated. For a home with several systems, ask which units and tasks were included.

Read measurements in context

A number needs a label, unit, test condition and relevant equipment requirement. Ask what a reading establishes and whether conditions limited the test. A snapshot is not a promise about future operation.

Findings, photographs and recommendations

Measurements record instrument results. Photos can show a component or visible condition. Videos may show a process or changing behavior. A recommendation should connect the evidence to the proposed next step. These types of documentation are related, but are not interchangeable proof.

Ask about QR codes and report access

A screenshot QR code or video link may provide additional context. Ask what each link opens, who can access it and how long it will remain available. Location metadata associates information with a job; it does not prove that every task was completed correctly.

Report contents vary

The system, service scope and available features determine what the report includes. Confirm your agreed documentation before the visit. K&A’s public sample report is awaiting a real, privacy-reviewed example; no demonstration readings are presented as customer evidence.
